I started assisting births as a doula in 1997 and have assisted as a midwife since 2003 in South America, California and, most recently, Colorado, as I moved and started practicing here in 2010. My training includes everything from working with an indigenous midwife in the Ecuadorian countryside to working in hospitals and clinics in Argentina to formal homebirth practices in both Argentina and California. I am also a trained Waldorf teacher, therefore bringing to my midwifery practice knowledge of child development from conception to adolescence, as well as an Anthroposophical perspective of pregnancy, postpartum and health in general.
