An intern is a student midwife in her final stage of training before becoming a certified midwife. I began apprenticing and attending home births in 2007 and attended Birthwise Midwifery School as a part of my academic education. I am passionate about birth and supporting women through their journey in becoming mothers. As a birth professional I strive for my care to be helpful, informative, and safe. And, as a fellow woman and mother I hope to provide you with compassion, encouragement and trust. In my practice I also incorporate prenatal yoga and Ayurvedic postpartum doula care. I provide to each of my clients a private prenatal yoga session and a postpartum Ayurvedic hot oil treatment and nourishing meal specific to your postpartum recuperation.
