Formal Election

Hello Voting members of the CMA,

This year we are going to be holding a formal anonymous elections through google polls with results that will be announced on May 8th, the day of our statewide meeting.

Victoria Engelhard (midwife from Ft. Collins), and I have been asked to act as the election committee during this year as members of the CMA who are not on the board to help support the process and follow our by-laws.

We are reaching out to ask if anyone is interested in being on the board or if you would like to nominate someone. We are also looking for a community outreach committee chair and regional committee that would consist of a regional member from: the Western slope, Denver, North Colorado, South Colorado and Boulder. Other's may be added if desired. These committees would not be on the board but may be asked to attend board meetings at times. A board member or committee member must be only holding one position at a time, must reside in Colorado, be a voting member for the last year, and must not have any requests for revocation pending against them with DORA. Students or non-voting members can be on committees or on the board if their supervising midwife is on the board.

We are hoping to be able to have the election poll sent out by May 1st to all the members so please let us know any nominations or interest by this date.
